Megan Renae Green and Jordan Michael Janet were married July 9, 2011, at St. Andrew Lutheran Church. The Rev. Paul Short performed the ceremony. Organist/pianist was Eric Coomer of Cape Girardeau; guitarist was Chris Janet of Cape Girardeau, uncle of the groom; and trumpeter was Nate Kinnison. Vocalists were Kim Daniel; Casie Mills, cousin of the groom; and Clayton Hahs, all of Cape Girardeau.
The bride is the daughter of Steve and Laura Green of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of Rob and Beth Janet of Cape Girardeau, and the late Kaye Hecht Janet.
Maid of honor was Danielle Gross of Cape Girardeau. Bridesmaids were Taylor Janet of Cape Girardeau, sister of the groom; Katie Overbey of Columbia, Mo., cousin of the bride; Casie Mills; Emma Halterman of Beaver Creek, Colo.; and Lorrin Lynn of New York City.
Bryce Willen of Hattiesburg, Miss., was best man. Groomsmen were Jared Green of Cape Girardeau, brother of the bride; Mitch Glueck of Jackson; Jeremy Brinkmeyer, Dane Ballsman and Paul Mills, all of Cape Girardeau. Ushers were Jake and Ryan Vanpool of Sikeston, Mo., J.T. Kratochvil of Cape Girardeau, Christopher Smith of Sikeston, all cousins of the bride; and Jake Janet of Cape Girardeau, cousin of the groom.
Candlelighters were Ali Janet, sister of the groom; Bailey Kratochvil and Elizabeth Smith, cousins of the bride. Ali is the daughter of Rob and Beth Janet. Bailey is the daughter of Jerry and Cheryl Kratochvil. Elizabeth is the daughter of Brent and Kristy Taylor of Sikeston.
Flower girl was Ellie Kratochvil, daughter of Jerry and Cheryl Kratochvil.
The reception was held at The Venue.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner July 8 at Saffron.
Mrs. Janet received a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Southeast Missouri State University in May. She is a fifth grade teacher at South Elementary School in Jackson.
The groom received a bachelor's degree in construction management from Southeast in 2010. He is a plant manager with Delta Companies in Cape Girardeau.
Following a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple is residing in Jackson.
