Brenna Justine Green and Jordan Christopher Buchheit were united in marriage during a 1 p.m. ceremony on April 25 at Saint Lawrence Catholic Church in New Hamburg, Missouri. Father Michael Casteel performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Green of Benton, Missouri. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jon Buchheit of Jackson.

Music for the occasion was provided by vocal soloist Kari Bickings of Oran, Missouri, pianist Angela Klueppel of Benton and cellist Daniel Bollig of Cape Girardeau.

Presented in marriage by her father, the bride chose a custom Stephen Yearick design embellished with hand-sewn silk flowers and Swarovski crystals. Her cathedral-length veil was made from French tulle. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of hydrangeas and double green parrot tulips in soft white.

Brooke Allison Deason of Jackson and Kristen Ford LaBruyere of Kansas City served as matrons of honor. Destiny Jo Dirnberger of Kansas City served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Hannah Dwiggins of St. Charles, Missouri, cousin of the bride; Rachel Buchheit of Jackson, sister of the groom; Kayla Ott of Nashville, Tennessee; Miranda Schlosser of Cape Girardeau; Christine Sturms of St. Louis and Sarah Catrino of Cape Girardeau. The bridesmaids wore floor-length Dupioni silk gowns in champagne.

The groom chose Logan Jon Buchheit of Columbia, Missouri, brother of the groom, as the best man. Groomsmen were Abraham Dirnberger of Columbia, Austin Gelsheimer of St. Louis, Jack Wedemeier of Cape Girardeau, JP Thompson of Jackson, Matthew Rosenquist of St. Louis, Brian Milbach of Lincoln, Nebraska; Andrew Bertrand of St. Louis, cousin of the groom; and Logan Lawson of Jackson. Ushers were Grant Dwiggins of St. Charles, cousin of the bride, and Christopher Wengert of Kansas City, cousin of the groom.

Josie McCabe of Lincoln and Libby and Maggie Buchheit of Jackson served as flower girls, and Gus McCabe of Lincoln served as ring bearer. All are cousins of the groom.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Deerfield Lodge. Floral arrangements were a mixture of white and ivory hydrangeas, garden roses, hybrid lilies and peonies. Following dinner, the Jason James Band of Nashville provided entertainment.

The wedding and reception coordinator was Christine Simmons of Party Wizards in Cape Girardeau.

Following a honeymoon trip to Paris, France and London, the couple are residing in St. Louis.

Brenna received a bachelor of science degree in business management from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is employed by Altria and also owns Golden Key Properties of Sikeston, Missouri.

Jordan received a bachelor of arts degree in political science and economics from Truman State University. He expects to receive his juris doctor in 2018 from Saint Louis University.
