Jennifer Golden and Matthew Skelton were united in marriage April 17, 2004, at Christ Lutheran Church in Gordonville. The Rev. Gary Hoffstetter performed the ceremony. Organist was Susan Koerber.
Parents of the couple are Brian and Teresa Golden of Cape Girardeau, and Kent and Donna Skelton of Jackson.
The bride was presented in marriage by her father.
Matron of honor was Brenda Warf of DeSoto, Mo., aunt of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jessie Skelton of Oak Ridge, cousin of the groom, and Regina Meyer of Grafton, Ill., aunt of the bride.
Pat Brown of Perryville, Mo., was his cousin's best man. Groomsmen were Bryan Skelton of Oak Ridge, cousin of the groom, and Brad Friese of Jackson. Ushers were Gary Clements of Biehle, Mo., uncle of the groom, and William Golden of Cape Girardeau, brother of the bride.
Flower girl was Abby Meyer of Grafton, cousin of the bride. Ringbearer was Nicholas Abbott of Fruitland, cousin of the groom.
Following the ceremony, the reception was hosted by Tory Bowns at the church hall. A dance was held later at Heartland Banquet Hall in Jackson.
The rehearsal dinner was hosted by the groom's parents.
Mrs. Skelton is a 2002 graduate of Central High School. She is employed at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
The groom is a 2002 graduate of Jackson High School. He is employed at K&G Clements Construction Co. in Biehle.
The couple is residing in Jackson.
