Glueck-Ruiz

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- St. Ambrose Catholic Church was the setting June 22, 2002, for the wedding of Angela Dawn Glueck and Jeremy Jason Ruiz. The Rev. Ralph Duffner performed the ceremony. Lector was Donna Ressel of Kelso. Organist was Betty Vandeven and vocalist was Tyree Emerson, both of Chaffee.

Parents of the couple are Larry W. and Paula Glueck and Ken and Ginny Ruiz, all of Chaffee.

Matron of honor was Kelly Burnett of Kelso, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Meagan Ruiz of Chaffee, sister of the groom; Morgan and Mallory Kiefer of Chaffee, cousins of the bride; Jesica Bogenpohl of Fruitland, Mary Felty of Scott City, Kristie Yarbro of Chaffee, Lindi Rains of Oran, Mo., and Marissa Essner of New Hamburg, Mo. Junior bridesmaid was Madelyn Kiefer of Chaffee, cousin of the bride.

Jordan Dame of East Lansing, Mich., was best man. Groomsmen were G.P. Glueck, brother of the bride; Ben Burnett; Ryan Pobst, cousin of the groom; John Swinford and Justin Noble, all of Chaffee; Scott Barnhart of Cape Girardeau, Jason Rains of Oran, and Brian Payne of Oxford, Miss. Junior groomsman was Gabe Miller of Chaffee, cousin of the bride. Ushers were Donnie and Ronnie Kiefer and Kevin Miller, all of Chaffee and uncles of the bride; Mark Pobst of Chaffee, Shawn Pobst of Scott City, and Richard Loree of Kansas City, uncles of the groom.

Miniature bride was Lexi Burnett, daughter of Ben Burnett of Chaffee and Kelly Burnett and niece of the bride. Miniature groom was Brennan Miller, son of Kevin and Brenda Miller and cousin of the bride.

Candlelighters were Jessica Swinford and Taylor Pobst of Chaffee, cousins of the groom, and Josh Job of Scott City, cousin of the bride.

Flower girl was Shelby Pobst, daughter of Shawn and Sherry Pobst and cousin of the groom. Ringbearer was Patrick Loree, son of Richard and Lisa Loree and cousin of the groom.

Rose carrier was Elizabeth Loree, daughter of Richard and Lisa Loree and cousin of the groom.

Sandy Robinson of Louisville, Ky., and Lisa Loree, aunts of the groom, attended the guest book. Programs were handed out by Elizabeth and Michael Loree of Kansas City, Levon Peetz and Addie Evans of Scott City, all cousins of the groom. Robin Dannenmueller of Chaffee and Carrie Phillips of Scott City attended the gift table.

Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance reception was held at the VFW Hall in Chaffee. Servers were Brenda Miller and Mary Ann Kiefer of Chaffee, Dorothy Black of Cape Girardeau, aunts of the bride; Vicki Keller of Cape Girardeau, Diane Woods of Kansas City, Mary Evans and Sherry Pobst of Scott City, all aunts of the groom; Peggy Steimle, Martha Felty, Norma Graviett, Carla Lee, Jewell Hampton, Robin Dannenmueller and Carrie Phillips, all of Scott City.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner June 21 at the VFW Hall.

After a Caribbean cruise, the couple resides in Chaffee.
