NEW HAMBURG, Mo. -- Jamie Susanne Glastetter and Kyle Michael Shaffar exchanged vows May 12, 2001, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. The Rev. Milton Ryan performed the ceremony. Vocalists were Janel Mason of Scott City, Mo., and Susan Layton of Cape Girardeau.
Parents of the couple are Daniel J. and Connie Glastetter of New Hamburg, and Michael and Linda Shaffar of Cape Girardeau.
Jody Glastetter of New Hamburger was her sister's maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Micaela Shaffar of Cape Girardeau, sister of the groom, and Kara Mason of Scott City.
Best man was Shawn Scharenborg of Jackson, Mo. Groomsmen were Darren Heuring of Gordonville, Mo., and Danny Wittenborn of Cape Girardeau. Ushers were Allen Bradshaw of Gordonville and David Glastetter of Chaffee, uncles of the bride.
Candlelighters were Whitney Bradshaw of Gordonville, cousin of the bride.
Flower girl was McKenzie Bradshaw, daughter of Allen and Karen Bradshaw of Gordonville and cousin of the bride.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Scott City.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner May 11 at Drury Lodge.
Mrs. Shaffar received a bachelor's degree in business administration from Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed in Student Financial Services at Southeast University.
The groom received a bachelor's degree from Southeast University. He is a computer programmer at MedAssets/HSCA.
The couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
