Mr. and Mrs. David B. Giles of Cape Girardeau are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Richard and Barbara Hemmer of Hillsboro, Mo., and Loren and Denise Neely of Arnold, Mo.

Sarah Ruopp Declue of Jackson was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Regina Ruebel of St. Louis, Lara Robey, and Michele Hofer of Lebanon, Ohio.

Best man was Christopher Hemmer of Lake St. Louis, Mo., brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Scott Vaugier of Jackson, Corey Bolen of Cape Girardeau, and Tom Lamprecht of Fenton, Mo. Ushers and candlelighters were Collin Giles of Cape Girardeau, brother of the bride; Tim Hemmer of Arnold, brother of the groom; and Jason Neely of Arnold, stepbrother of the groom.

Flower girl was Adrienne Martinelli of Rogers, Ark., cousin of the groom.

Staci Adams of Arnold, cousin of the groom, was guest book and program attendant.

Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance was held at the Elks Lodge. Servers were Debra Reitinger of St. Louis and Kim Martinelli of Arnold, aunts of the groom.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Oct. 19 at Celebrations.

Mrs. Hemmer is a 1995 graduate of Central High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in psychology from Southeast Missouri State University in 1999, and a master of arts degree in industrial and organizational psychology from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville in 2001. She is the evaluation coordinator for Missouri Bootheel Healthy Start in Sikeston, Mo.

The groom is a 1993 graduate of Northwest High School in House Springs, Mo. He received a bachelor of science degree in industrial technology from Southeast University in 2000, and is pursuing a master of science degree in industrial management at Southeast.

Following a wedding trip to Hispaniola, Jamaica, Grand Cayman, and Mexico, the couple is residing in Cape Girardeau.
