Giesler-Merriman

JACKSON, Mo. -- Tiffany Lea Giesler and Dalles Scott Merriman were married April 20, 2002, at First Baptist Church in Ste. Genevieve, Mo. The Rev. Dalles Merriman, grandfather of the groom, performed the double ring ceremony. Pianist was Patti Neathery, violinist was Kim Rodamaker, and soloist was Brenda Resnik.

Parents of the couple are Bernard and Joyce Giesler of Ste. Genevieve, Mo., and Loyd and Sheryl Merriman of Poplar Bluff, Mo.

Tania Hoehn of Ste. Genevieve, sister of the bride, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Jodie Schwartz of St. Louis, Jennifer Linderer and Paula Grass of Ste. Genevieve.

The groom chose his brother, Seth Merriman of Cape Girardeau, as best man. Groomsmen were Bert Fredwell of Dexter, Mo., and Mike and Steve Eason of Poplar Bluff. Ushers were Tim Hoehn of Ste. Genevieve and Larry Miller of Poplar Bluff.

Flower girl was Jorden Hoehn, daughter of Tim and Tania Hoehn and niece of the bride. Ringbearer was Tyler Magill, son of Joy and Patricia Magill and cousin of the groom.

Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the Elks Lodge in Ste. Genevieve. Servers were Michelle Morrison, Chrissy Naeger and Stephanie Naeger.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner April 19 at Family Inn Restaurant in Ste. Genevieve.

Mrs. Merriman received a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Southeast Missouri State University. She is a registered nurse in the Heart Institute at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

The groom received a bachelor's degree in health management and an associate of applied science degree as a physical therapist assistant from Southeast University. He is a physical therapist assistant at Rehab Systems Inc.

After a wedding trip to the Smoky Mountains, the couple is residing in Jackson.
