Franks - Giles

Erin Nicole Franks and Robert Thomas Giles were married June 10, 2009, in Negril, Jamaica. The Rev. Lionel Rose performed the ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Cy and Evelyn Franks of Foristell, Mo., and Tom and Mary Giles of Cape Girardeau.

Witnesses were Caroline Giles of Toledo, Ohio, sister of the groom, and Eric Franks of Columbia, Mo., brother of the bride.

A reception was held Aug. 15 at the former American Legion Hall in Warrenton, Ohio.

Mrs. Giles is a 2000 graduate of Wentzville Holt High School. She received a bachelor's degree in history in 2004 and a master's degree in education in 2005 from Truman State University. She is a fourth grade teacher with Warren County School District.

The groom is a 1996 graduate of Central High School. He received a bachelor's degree in music education from Southeast Missouri State University in 2001, and a master's degree in music education from Boston University in 2008. He is director of bands with Warren County School District.

The couple is residing in Warrenton, Mo.
