CHAFFEE, Mo. -- Jennifer Marriah Finley and Jeremy Bernard Vandeven were married June 5, 2004, at First Baptist Church in Chaffee. The Rev. Cliff Day performed the ceremony.
Parents of the couple are Dan and Judy Finley and Alvin and Betty Vandeven, all of Chaffee.
Matron of honor was Jessica Hanlon of Chaffee. Bridesmaids were Renee Burnett and Jennifer Vandeven of Chaffee, sisters of the groom; Laura Eftink of Gordonville; Crystal Swain of Chaffee, cousin of the bride; and Jennifer Siem of O'Fallon, Mo.
Danny Finley of Chaffee, brother of the bride, was best man. Groomsmen were Tommy Burnett of Chaffee, brother-in-law of the groom; Jack Altermatt of Joplin, Mo.; Matt Graham and Josh Hanlon of Chaffee; and Jason Mott of Nashville, Tenn., cousin of the groom. Ushers were Jeremy Lynn and Marc Sadler of Chaffee.
Candlelighters were Emily Vandeven, cousin of the groom, and Alexa Wetzler, cousin of the bride. Emily is the daughter of Larry and Rhonda Vandeven of Leopold, Mo. Wetzler is the daughter of Gina Conway and Mark Wetzler of Evening Shade, Ark.
Flower girls were Kylie and Cassidy Swain, daughters of Kelley and Crystal Swain of Chaffee and cousins of the bride. Ringbearers were Maison Altamirano and Ethan Bedwell. Maison is the son of Nicole Altamirano of Marietta, Ga., and cousin of the bride. Ethan is the son of Derek and Angela Bedwell of Chaffee.
Jessica and Wendy Vandeven of Leopold, cousins of the groom, attended the guest book.
A dinner and dance reception was held at Chaffee Elks Lodge.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner June 4 at Delmonico's.
Mrs. Vandeven received a degree in education from Southeast Missouri State University in 2003. She is a teacher at Sikeston Middle School in Sikeston, Mo.
The groom expects to receive a degree in industrial management from Southeast in May. He is employed at Do It Best Corp.
The couple is residing in Chaffee.
