Casey Sue Ferden and Bradley Joseph Patterson exchanged vows June 1, 2002, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Charlie Prost performed the double ring ceremony. Pianist and organist was Valerie Schaefer of Cape Girardeau; cantor and soloist was Sally Kreamer of Johnston, Iowa, aunt of the bride; and reader was Denise Siebert of Cape Girardeau.
Parents of the bride are Susan and David Ludolph of Cape Girardeau and Pete and Priscilla Ferden of Lewisville, Texas. The groom is the son of Marcia and Dave Walton of Cape Girardeau.
Keisha Hannan of Springfield, Mo., was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Nicole Ferden, sister of the bride, and Cecilia Kuntz, both of Cape Girardeau, Amy DiGiulio of St. Louis, and Holly Brantly of Cape Girardeau.
Best man was Jonathan Hoover of Cape Girardeau. Groomsmen were Chad Konrad of St. Louis, Eric Ebaugh of Cape Girardeau, Mohammed Sarfaraz Ali of Dhaka, Bangladesh, and David Ludolph of Cape Girardeau, brother of the bride. Usher was Alan Ferden of Lewisville, brother of the bride.
Candlelighter was Melissa Patterson, daughter of Cindy Patterson of Cape Girardeau and sister of the groom.
Flower girls were Katie Walton, sister of the groom, and Morgan Ferden, sister of the bride. Ringbearer was Wade Ludolph, brother of the bride.
Taylor Yezek of Manly, Iowa, attended the guest book. Programs were handed out by Kellie Ferden of Mason City, Iowa, and Jody Harris of Story City, Iowa.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Scott City, Mo. Hosts were Steven and Brenda Trenhaile of Manly. Servers were Ann and Dean Yezek of Manly, Mary Ferden of Story City, and John Ferden of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner May 31 at Drury Lodge.
Mrs. Patterson is a 1999 graduate of Central High School, and attended the University of Missouri at Columbia. She is employed at Wal-Mart in Columbia.
The groom is a 1999 graduate of Central High School, and is pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering from UMC. He is employed at the university.
The couple is residing in Columbia.
