JACKSON, Mo. -- Stephanie Sue Feeney and Richard Elwood Murray were married May 19, 2001, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. The Rev. Ron Hoye performed the double ring ceremony. Organist was Cathrine Martin, trumpeter was Matt Martin, and soloist was Alan Bruns.
The bride is the daughter of Gordon and Martha Feeney of Jackson. The groom is the son of Linda Cooper and the late Richard Murray.
Mary Jo Wilson of St. Louis was her sister's matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Cindy Turner of Arnold, Mo.; Chrissy Greatrex and Debbie Potter of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., sisters of the groom. Junior bride was Taylor Feeney of Jackson, niece of the bride.
Best man was Rob Gazi of Michigan. Groomsmen were Billy Greatrex, brother-in-law of the groom, Scott Landis and Steve Potter, all of Ft. Lauderdale. Usher was Derek Feeney of Jackson, nephew of the bride.
Candlelighters were Brittany Feeney of Jackson, niece of the bride, and Amanda Messina of Ft. Lauderdale, niece of the groom.
Flower girl and ringbearer were Jessica and Jordon Wilson of St. Louis, niece and nephew of the bride.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Cape Girardeau Country Club.
The bride's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner at their home May 18.
Mrs. Murray attended Southeast Missouri State University, and served in the U.S. Marine Corps. She is coordinator of Out Patient in North Broward, Fla.
The groom attended Florida State, and served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He is self-employed.
The couple resides in Ft. Lauderdale.
