Amber Michelle Faircloth and Brian Virgil Knippen were united in marriage Oct. 6, 2007, at Immaculate Conception Church in Jackson. The Rev. David Hulshof performed the ceremony. Organist was Geri Beussink of Jackson, and vocalist was Mike Renick of Cape Girardeau.
The bride is the daughter of Kelly Faircloth of Cape Girardeau and David Faircloth of Desloge, Mo. The groom is the son of Virgil and Mary Knippen of Delphos, Ohio.
Matron of honor was Angie Clark of Kelso, Mo. Bridesmaids were Jaime Bryan of Delphos, sister of the groom; Shannel Bueltemann and Michelle Crosnoe of Cape Girardeau, Beth Essner of Peoria, Ill., and Casey Glueck of St. Louis.
Brandon Adlich of Richmond, Va., was best man. Groomsmen were Noah Bryan of Delphos, brother-in-law of the groom; Matt Knippen of Shelby, N.C., brother of the groom; Jay Matheny of Fancy Farm, Ky., Chad Sierman of Cape Girardeau, and Brett Klima of Smyrna, Tenn. Ushers were Bill Nekula of Cape Girardeau and Derek Fenwick of Portland, Ore.
Candlelighters were Paige and Alexis Faircloth, daughters of David and Jane Faircloth and sisters of the bride.
Flower girl was London Popp, daughter of Blake and Lauren Popp of Cape Girardeau. Ringbearer was Brycen Clark, son of Brandon and Angie Clark.
The reception was held at Bavarian Halle.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Oct. 5 at Buckner Brewing Co.
Mrs. Knippen is a graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School and Southeast Missouri State University. She is a teacher at Immaculate Conception School in Jackson.
The groom is a graduate of Ottoville High School in Ottoville, Ohio, attended Murray State University, and is a graduate of Southeast University. He is assistant manager at Aldi.
After a wedding trip to Gatlinburg, Tenn., the couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
