Shana Lynn Evans and Raymond Barnhart Spencer were married June 12, 2004, at Deerfield Lodge in Cape Girardeau. Beth Derenne of Columbia, Mo., performed the ceremony.
Parents of the bride are James and Marilyn Evans of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of Bake and Paula Ottofy of Bland, Mo., and Ted and Donna Spencer of Cape Girardeau.
The bride was escorted by her parents.
Maid of honor was Lindsay Evans of Cape Girardeau, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Eryn Fiehler of Cincinnati, Ohio, cousin of the bride; Katie Spencer of Columbia, sister of the groom; Danielle Schuette of Dayton, Ohio, Kim Brotherton of Cape Girardeau, and Amber Cook of Burfordville.
Best man was William Spencer of Fenton, Mo., brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Dan Krieg of Madison, Wis., Ryan Burkett of Fenton, Ben Younce of Cape Girardeau, Jason Wienke and Shawn Urban of Big Bend, Wis., and Dylan Ottofy of Bland, brother of the groom.
Candlelighters were Jessica Huey of Marble Hill, Mo., and Tiffany Schlitt of Cape Girardeau, cousins of the bride.
Flower girls were Dayna Arthur of Cape Girardeau and Caitlyn Hays of Scott City, cousins of the bride. Ringbearer was Courtney Hays of Scott City, cousin of the bride.
Laura Arthur of Cape Girardeau, cousin of the bride, attended the guest book.
Following the ceremony, a dinner and reception was held at Deerfield Lodge. Servers were Barbara Arthur and Debra Greable of Jackson, Judy Groves of Cape Girardeau, aunts of the bride; Laurie Bailey of Iowa, aunt of the groom; Jackie West of Iowa; and Stephanie Ray of Scott City, cousin of the bride.
Ted and Donna Spencer hosted the rehearsal dinner June 11 at Deerfield Lodge.
Mrs. Spencer is a 2000 graduate of Jackson High School. She is employed by TSA in St. Louis.
The groom received a degree in computer science in 2001.
After a wedding trip to Chicago, the couple is residing in Florissant, Mo.
