NEW HAMBURG, Mo. -- Michelle LeAnn Essner and Andrew David Silman were married Aug. 10, 2002, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Msgr. Philip Bucher performed the ceremony. Lectors were Andrea Essner of Providence, R.I., and Nicole Essner of Indianapolis, Ind., cousins of the bride. Pianist was Malinda Nelson and soloist was Mary Glastetter.
Parents of the couple are Andrew and Carla Essner of New Hamburg, and Mark and Cindy Silman of Benton, Mo.
Maid of honor was Lisa Essner of New Hamburg, sister of the bride. Honor attendant was Leonna Essner of New Hamburg, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Toni Pemberton of Charleston, Mo.; Kristina Roslen of Sikeston, Mo.; Lyndsey Mosby of McClure, Ill.; and Kari Wilhelm of Benton, Mo., cousin of the bride. Junior bridesmaids were LaGena Strobel of Bell City, Mo., cousin of the bride, and Jordan Silman of Van Buren, Mo., sister of the groom.
Allan Silman of Benton served his brother as best man, and honor attendant was Nathan Dirnberger of New Hamburg. Groomsmen were Dustin Essner of New Hamburg, brother of the bride; Nick Kennedy of Sikeston; Greg Morgan of Benton; and Jason Glastetter of New Hamburg. Junior groomsman was Trey Strobel of Bell City, cousin of the bride. Ushers were Gary Kluesner of New Hamburg, and Kent Essner of Jefferson City, Mo., cousin of the bride.
Candlelighters were Kim Ziegler of Kelso, Mo., cousin of the bride; Andrea Heisserer of Oran, Mo.; and Malinda Dumey of Benton, cousin of the bride.
Flower girl was Anne Ziegler of Kelso, cousin of the bride. Ringbearer was Bryant Gage of Charleston, cousin of the groom.
After a wedding trip to Orlando, Fla., the couple is residing at Benton.
