Emily Danielle Essner and Curtis Wayne Hall Jr. were married Sept. 21, 2013, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City. The Rev. Oliver Clavin performed the ceremony. Vocalist was Krista Keesee and organist was Betty Ressel, both of Kelso, Mo. Readers were Cody Page and Joey Jacobs of Scott City, cousins of the groom.
Parents of the couple are Danny and Jill Essner and Curtis and Vickie Hall, all of Scott City.
Maid of honor was Stephanie Essner of Scott City, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Ashley Zeigler; Ashley Jackson; Heather Jones; and Marissa and Macy Hall, sisters of the groom, all of Scott City.
Jason Schenimann of Scott City was best man. Groomsmen were Michael Zeigler; Carmon Jackson; Jacob Stewart; Clayton Hall, brother of the groom; and Eric Essner, brother of the bride; all of Scott City. Ushers were Cody Schlosser of Benton, Mo., and Eric Holder of Kelso.
Candlelighters were Lindsey Ressel of Benton, cousin of the groom, and Becky Keesee of Scott City.
Flower girl was Avery Zeigler, daughter of Michael and Ashley Zeigler. Ringbearers were Camden Jackson and Brody Gast. Camden is the son of Carmon and Ashley Jackson. Brody is the son of Heather Jones.
The reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Scott City.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Sept. 20 at St. Joseph gym.
Mrs. Hall received a bachelor's degree in business administration from Southeast Missouri State University in 2012. She is employed at Bank of Missouri.
The groom received an associate's degree from Mineral Area College in 2012. He is employed at Procter & Gamble.
After a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple is residing in Scott City.
