Cara Brooke Ervin and Michael David Probst were married May 28, 2005, in an outdoor ceremony at Von Jakob Orchard in Alto Pass, Ill. Tony Hammack of Scopus, Mo., performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mike Ervin and Carolyn Ervin-Mobley of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of Dr. David and Maggie Probst of Cape Girardeau.

Maid of honor was Savanna Irizarry of Fruitland, and matron of honor was Andrea Hammack of Scopus. Bridesmaids were Julie Fredenburg, sister of the groom; Ashley Hughes and Hallie McConnell, all of Cape Girardeau.

Andrew Mellies of Cape Girardeau was best man. Groomsmen were Jeffery Tompkins of Fort Lewis, Wash.; Wynn Fredenburg of Cape Girardeau, brother-in-law of the groom; Alex Neubauer of Osh Kosh, Wis.; and Derek Rose of Cape Girardeau. Ushers were Todd Fulton, Anthony Salazar, Roger Brown, Aaron Taylor and James Love.

Flower girls were Nichole Mobley of Cape Girardeau, sister of the bride, and Hannah Fulton, daughter of Todd and Amber Fulton of Cape Girardeau and cousin of the bride. Ringbearer was Nate Hammack, son of Tony and Andrea Hammack.

The reception was also held at the orchard. Servers were Shelly and Chelsey Clark, Krissy Margrabe and Jane Sitzes.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner May 27 at the Potato Barn in Anna, Ill.

Mrs. Probst attended Southeast Missouri State University, and is pursuing a degree in pharmacy. She is a pharmacy technician at Wal-Mart.

The groom attended Southeast. He is serving in the U.S. Army, stationed at Fort Hood, Texas.

The couple is residing in Killeen, Texas.
