Elfrink - Kamps

Stacey Ann Elfrink and Jay Edward Kamps were married Aug. 2, 2008, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Clayton, Mo. Monsignor John Shamleffer performed the ceremony. Vocalist was Patricia Scanlon of St. Louis, organist was Tom Taylor of St. Louis, and trumpeter was John Korak of Edwardsville, Ill.

Parents of the couple are Delwin and Theresa Elfrink of Cape Girardeau, and Gerald and Rosemary Kamps of Combined Locks, Wis.

Matron of honor was Eloise Schmitz of Ladue, Mo. Bridesmaids were Mary Jo Moehle of University City, Mo.; Kristen Beracha of Clayton; Amy Hietpas of Shorewood, Wis., sister of the groom; Jessica Elfrink of Kansas City, Mo., sister-in-law of the bride; Michelle Hesselrode of Cape Girardeau, Danielle Baker of Dallas, Texas, and Sarah Gosche of St. Louis.

Tim Deckert of West Palm Beach, Fla., was best man. Groomsmen were Steve Kamps of Appleton, Wis., brother of the groom; Russ Case of Pasadena, Calif.; Steve Brown of Rogers, Ark.; Craig Elfrink of Kansas City, brother of the bride; Mark Brodeur of Menlo Park, Calif.; Dave Martin of Savage, Minn.; and Scott Rhodes of Cape Girardeau. Ushers were Kyle and Cory Elfrink of St. Louis, brothers of the bride, and Jordan Kamps of Appleton, nephew of the groom.

Flower girl and ringbearer were Anna and Jack Hietpas, niece and nephew of the groom. They are the children of Matt and Amy Hietpas.

The reception was held at the Ritz Carlton in Clayton.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Aug. 1 at The Plaza in Clayton.

Mrs. Kamps was senior director of corporate finance at Charter Communications in St. Louis.

The groom is employed with brand marketing at Nestle Prepared Foods Co. in Englewood, Colo.

After a wedding trip to the South of Spain, the couple is residing in Denver, Colo.
