ORAN, Mo. -- Jamie Marie Eftink and Duncan Kenneth Phenix were united in marriage June 16, 2007, at Guardian Angel Catholic Church. The Revs. John Harth and Douglas Phenix performed the ceremony. Pianist was Bernice Kern.

The bride is the daughter of Jim and Vickie Eftink of Oran, and the late Pat Eftink. The groom is the son of Douglas and Gloria Phenix of Topeka, Kan., and the late Ann Phenix.

Maid of honor was Gail Dirnberger. Bridesmaids were Kathy Sweeney-Meadows and Nikki Urhahn.

David Phenix was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Barry Meadows and Ian Phenix, nephew of the groom. Ushers were Dustin and Keith Eftink, nephews of the bride.

Candlelighters were Amanda and Wendy Eftink, nieces of the bride.

Flower girl was Tricia Eftink, niece of the bride.

Julie Enos and Anna Wise attended the guest book.

The reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Oran.

Mrs. Phenix is a 1998 graduate of Oran High School, and a 2002 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is creative services producer at KFVS TV-12.

The groom is a 1991 graduate of Lakeshore High School in Stevensville, Mich, and attended Michigan State University. He is executive news producer at KFVS.

The coupe resides in Cape Girardeau.
