Kimberly Edwards and Jeffrey Trankler were united in marriage May 1, 2004, at Immaculate Conception Church in Jackson. Monsignor Edward Eftink performed the ceremony. Organist was Jerry Ganiel and soloist was Cindy Burger. Scriptures were read by Joseph Trankler and Barbara Hahs.

The bride is the daughter of Barbara Hahs of Jackson, and the late Dennis Edwards of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of Theodore and Carol Trankler of Jackson.

Matron of honor was Wendy Johnson, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Burroughs, sister of the bride; Rhonda Bartels, sister of the groom; and Julie Kiehne.

Wayne Bartels, brother-in-law of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were James Trankler, uncle of the groom; Rodney Landewee; and Tim Burroughs, brother-in-law of the bride. Ushers and candlelighters were Gary Hahs, uncle of the bride, and Jimmy Stoverink. Austin Bartels, nephew of the groom, lit the memory candle.

Junior bride was Madelyn Bartels, niece of the groom. Junior groom was Caleb Johnson, nephew of the bride.

Flower girl was Makayla Burroughs, niece of the bride. Ringbearer was Kyle Johnson, nephew of the bride.

Programs were handed out by Jennifer Turner and Beverly Peters, cousins of the groom.

Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Jackson. Servers were Ruth Barks and Ashley Hahs, aunts of the bride, and Karen Barks, cousin of the bride.

Mrs. Trankler is a 1996 graduate of Jackson High School, and received a bachelor's degree in finance from Southeast Missouri State University in 2003. She is employed at the Bank of Missouri in Cape Girardeau.

The groom is a 1989 graduate of Notre Dame High School. He is employed at Ford Groves in Cape Girardeau.

The couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
