Edwards - Hunt

Claire Kathleen Edwards and James Kenneth Hunt were married Aug. 4, 2012, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. Patrick Reynolds, pastor of St. Thomas Moore in Paducah, Ky., performed the ceremony. Instrumentalists were Trio Girardeaux, and vocalists were Adam Reinagel and Jenny Schade.

Parents of the couple are John and Patricia Edwards of Cape Girardeau, and Kenneth and Beth Hunt of Paducah.

Matron of honor was Jill Young of O'Fallon, Mo., sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Laura Edwards of Cape Girardeau, sister-in-law of the bride; Hannah Hunt of Paducah, sister of the groom; Rachel Hennen of St. Louis, Amanda Toole of Cape Girardeau, and Allison Toole of Nashville, Tenn.

Henry Hunt of St. Louis was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Ben Edwards of Cape Girardeau, brother of the bride; Zach Young of O'Fallon, brother-in-law of the bride; Andrew Smith of Dallas, Texas, Peter Hayes of Louisville, Ky., and Sam Howard of Paducah. Ushers were J.J. Bollozos of Dallas, and Seth Kidd of Chicago, cousin of the groom.

Ringbearer was Michael Edwards, son of Ben and Laura Edwards and nephew of the bride.

Program attendants were Brooke Heischmidt of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Rachael Jenkins of Cape Girardeau. Guest book attendants were Brigid Kinsella of Houston, Texas, and Katelyn Vance of Kelso, Mo.

The reception was held at The Venue.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Aug. 3 at Dalhousie Golf Club.

Mrs. Hunt received a bachelor of science degree in occupational science in 2010, and a master in occupational therapy in 2011, both from St. Louis University. She is an occupational therapist with Healthcare Therapy Services in Louisville, Ky.

The groom received a bachelor of arts degree in biology from St. Louis University in 2010. He expects to graduate from University of Louisville School of Dentistry in 2014.

After a wedding trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, the couple is residing in Louisville.
