Bailey Elizabeth Dyer and 2nd Lt. Landon Karl Cheben were married June 19, 2010, at Mount Carmel Baptist Church in Cincinnati, Ohio. Dr. Lance Cunningham performed the ceremony. Organists were Greg Chesney of Cincinnati and Susan Brown Bandy of St. Louis, cousin of the bride. Cellist was Cadet Samuel Korom of West Point Military Academy in New York.
The bride is the daughter of Dan and Sara Stacy Dyer of Loveland, Ohio, formerly of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of Mark and Cindy Cheben of Baltimore, Md.
Maid of honor was Kelly Augspurger, formerly of Cape Girardeau. Bridesmaids were Layne and Holly Finnegan of Jackson and Caroline Morris of Mount Juliet, Tenn., cousins of the bride.
Graham Cheben was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Adam Dyer of Pittsburgh, Pa., and N. Colin Dyer of Savannah, Ga., brothers of the bride. Ushers and saber bearers were classmates of the groom at West Point.
The reception was held at Newport Aquarium in Newport, Ky.
The bride received a bachelor of science degree in microbiology from Ohio State University in June 2010.
The groom received a bachelor of science degree in engineering from West Point in May 2010.
After a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple is stationed at Fort Rucker, Ala., where he is training for helicopter flight.
