Halie Dawn Dunn and Timothy Marcus Simmons were married Aug. 10, 2013, at Deerfield Lodge in Cape Girardeau. James Green performed the ceremony. Vocalist and guitarist was Matt Peaslee of Rolla, Mo.
The bride is the daughter of Wes and Tracey Tripp of Cape Girardeau and Eric Dunn of Bloomington, Ind. The groom is the son of Deena Ring of Jackson and Mark and Karla Simmons of Olive Branch, Ill.
Bridesmaids were Vanessa Ayers of Cape Girardeau; Winter Tripp of Lake St. Louis, niece of the bride; and Hannah Niermann of Cape Girardeau.
Travis Simmons of Jackson served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Andy Winkleback and Luke Rayburn of Jackson, Cody Senn of Cape Girardeau, and Josiah Ashba of Ellettsville, Ind. Ushers were Trevor Dunn, brother of the bride, and T.J. Smith, both of Jackson.
Flower girls were Addie and Gracie Tripp, daughters of Dan and Annie Tripp of Lake St. Louis and nieces of the bride. Ringbearers were Benjamin Blank and Hudson Tripp. Benjamin is the son of Scott and Lisa Blank of Cape Girardeau and cousin of the groom. Hudson is the son of Dan and Annie Tripp and nephew of the bride.
The reception was held at Deerfield Lodge.
Deena Ring and Gaye Blank hosted the rehearsal dinner Aug. 9 at Celebrations.
Mrs. Simmons received a bachelor of science degree in communication disorders from Southeast Missouri State University in May 2013. She is a special education paraprofessional at Marion Middle School in Marion, Ark.
The groom received a bachelor of science degree in agribusiness from Southeast in August 2013. He is a grain merchandiser with Consolidated Grain and Barge in West Memphis, Ark.
A cruise is planned in March 2014.
The couple is residing in Marion.
