Dorlac - Irvin

Doris Ann Dorlac and Simon Paul Irvin exchanged vows Oct. 6, 2007, at St. Mary's Cathedral. The Rev. Thomas Kiefer performed the ceremony. Organist was Danielle Bremer of Cape Girardeau. Vocalists were Ronald and Christa Hitt of Jackson.

The bride is the daughter of Barbara Eagle of Cape Girardeau. Thomas and Sydney Irvin of Scott City are parents of the groom.

Maid of honor was Stephanie Davis of Jackson. Bridesmaids were Mary Schultz of Chaffee, Mo., sister of the bride; Theresa Irvin of Ballwin, Mo., sister of the groom; and Stephanie Chartrau of Sikeston, Mo.

Samuel Irvin of Scott City was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Mark Schultz of Chaffee, brother-in-law of the bride; Brad McKlin and David Hutchinson of Cape Girardeau. Ushers were Tyler Metz of Ballwin and Ethan Irvin of Scott City, nephews of the groom.

Candlelighters were Ashley Poole and Crystal McLain of Cape Girardeau.

Allyson and Austin Atchley attended the guest book.

The reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Scott City.

The bride and groom hosted the rehearsal dinner Oct. 5 at El Torero in Cape Girardeau.

Mrs. Irvin is a 2003 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School in Cape Girardeau. She received a bachelor of science degree in psychology from Southeast Missouri State University in 2007, and is enrolled in the counseling and guidance master's program at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She is employed at UMB Bank in Kansas City.

The groom is a 1998 graduate of Scott City High School. He is employed by the U.S. Air Force at Whiteman AFB in Knob Noster, Mo.

After a wedding trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, the couple resides in Lees Summit, Mo.
