Alyssa Leigh Dooley and Joseph Roy Floyd were united in marriage Dec. 25, 2007, at the home of the bride's mother. The Rev. Jamie Ellis performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Jon and Catherine Brewer of Ringgold, Ga., and John and Myra Dooley of Ooltewah, Tenn. The groom is the son of David and Dina Floyd of Jackson.
Matron of honor was the bride's mother.
The groom chose his father as best man.
A reception was held Dec. 28 at Buckner Brewing Co. in Cape Girardeau. Servers were Zina Leece, aunt of the groom; Samantha Leece, cousin of the groom; and Jennifer Pittman.
Mrs. Floyd is a 2007 graduate of Ooltewah High School.
The groom is a 2005 graduate of Jackson High School. He is serving in the U.S. Air Force.
The couple is residing in San Angelo, Texas.
