NEW HAMBURG, Mo. -- Amy Nicole Dirnberger and Garrett Joseph Stricker were married Nov. 22, 2014, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church in New Hamburg. The Rev. Michael Casteel performed the ceremony. Organist was Angela Klueppel of Benton, Missouri, great-aunt of the bride. Vocalists were Kevin Curry of Kelso, Missouri, uncle of the bride, and Tyree Chapman of Chaffee, Missouri.
Parents of the couple are Herbert and Cindy Dirnberger of New Hamburg, and Carl and Bernadette Stricker of Charleston, Missouri.
Matron of honor was Angela Christian of Benton, sister of the groom. Bridesmaids were Jennifer Dirnberger and Kara Dirnberger of Benton, sisters-in-law of the bride. Junior bridesmaid was Krista Dirnberger of Benton, niece of the bride.
David Christian of Benton, brother-in-law of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Keith Dirnberger and Nathan Dirnberger of Benton, brothers of the bride. Junior groomsmen were Nicholas Dirnberger of Benton, nephew of the bride, and Nicholas Christian of Benton, nephew of the groom. Ushers were Matthew LeGrand of Benton and Michael Weber of Jackson, cousins of the groom.
Flower girls were Saylor Dirnberger and Elizabeth Christian. Saylor is the daughter of Nathan and Kara Dirnberger and niece of the bride. Elizabeth is the daughter of David and Angela Christian and niece of the groom. Ringbearer was Tucker Dirnberger, son of Nathan and Kara Dirnberger and nephew of the bride.
Candlelighters were Crystal Britt and Amber Sides of Cape Girardeau.
The reception was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Kelso.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Nov. 21 at the home of the bride's parents.
Amy is a 2001 graduate of Thomas W. Kelly High School. She received a bachelor of human environmental studies from Southeast Missouri State University in 2008, with a major in family studies and minor in child studies. She is service coordinator at Catholic Charities of Southern Missouri in Sikeston.
Garrett is a 2002 graduate of Kelly High School. He received a bachelor of science in accounting in 2006 and a master of business administration in 2007 from Southeast Missouri State University. He is controller at Graceland Rental LLC of Graceland Portable Buildings in Cunningham, Kentucky.
After a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple is residing in Benton.
