Delay - Olson

Arkadia Marie DeLay and Joshua David Olson were married Sept. 19, 2009, at Christ Episcopal Church in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. Bob Towner performed the ceremony. Readers were Patti Smith-Jackson, aunt of the groom, and Andy Murphy, both of St. Louis.

John and Cecelia Boos of Cape Girardeau and Ken DeLay of Boulder, Colo., are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Robert and Peggy Olson of St. Louis.

Maid of honor was Jacqueline Boos of Kirksville, Mo., sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Julie Wehner Buford of Cape Girardeau, Sarah Essner Fry of Austin, Texas, Jill Ostendorf of Nashville, Tenn., and Sara Jansen Perry of Houston, Texas.

David Olson of Chicago, brother of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Jim Baltz of Dallas, Texas, Jay Bangash of New York City, Joe Pentland of Bridgeport, Conn., and Phil Pusateri of St. Louis. Junior groomsman was Jacob Olson, son of the groom. Ushers were Steven Boos, brother of the bride, and Dan Stokes of Boston, Mass.

Candlelighter was Raymond Boos, brother of the bride.

Laura Leffler and Mary Anne Potts of New York City attended the guest book.

The reception was held at Buckner's River View Room.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner at Celebrations.

Mrs. Olson is a 1996 graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School. She is a 2000 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia, and received a juris doctorate from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City in 2006. She is an attorney with Husch Blackwell Sanders, LLP, in St. Louis.

The groom is a 1993 graduate of Priory High School in St. Louis. He graduated from Trinity College in Hartford, Conn., and received a master's in business administration and a juris doctorate from St. Louis University in 2009. He is a financial analyst with Edward Jones in St. Louis.

After a wedding trip to Savannah, Ga., the couple is residing in St. Louis.
