Spring Shannon DeCramer and Michael Gerard Cook were married March 5, 2011, at La Croix United Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. Ron Watts performed the ceremony. Scriptures were read by Jacki Hutson of Jackson. Music was by Sherri Boxdorfer of Cape Girardeau.
The bride is the daughter of Steve and Easy Stilson of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of Ken and Diane Cook of Chaffee, Mo.
Maid of honor was Julie Giljum of St. Louis. Matron of honor was Shannon Glancey of New Windsor, Ill., aunt of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kim Kelpe of Cape Girardeau; Victoria Stockham of Canton, Ill., cousin of the bride; Marianne Cook of Jackson, Erin Carlton of Imperial, Mo., Rebecca Cook of Chaffee, and Sara Cook of Seymour, Ind., sisters of the groom.
Dustin Cook of Cape Girardeau was best man. Groomsmen were Adam Spinks of Scott City; Robert Vetter of Viburnum, Mo.; Tye DeCramer of Linn, Mo., and Drew DeCramer of Peoria, Ill., brothers of the bride; Shawn Wilding of Troy, Mo., Chris Cox of Leopold, Mo., and Chris Slinkard of Cape Girardeau. Ushers were Mike Nichols of Jefferson City, Mo., Michael Kight of Whitewater, and Sam Below of Delta.
Flower girls were Emma Stilson and Lexi Glancey, cousins of the bride. Ringbearer was Austin DeCramer, nephew of the bride. Emma is the daughter of Ken and Rhonda Stilson of Cape Girardeau. Lexi is the daughter of Bill and Shannon Glancey. Austin is the son of Tye and Amy DeCramer.
The reception was held at Plaza Conference Center.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner March 4 at Port Cape.
Mrs. Cook received a bachelor of science degree in criminal justice from Southeast Missouri State University in 2003. She is employed by Missouri Children's Division.
The groom received a bachelor of science degree in industrial management from Southeast in 2001. He is employed by PAJCO and Missouri Air National Guard.
After a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple is residing in Cape Girardeau.
