LEOPOLD, Mo. -- Lisa Michelle DeBrock and Brian Lee Towe were married July 28, 2001, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson, Mo. Msgr. Edward Eftink performed the double ring ceremony. Pianist was Heather Weber of Jackson and vocalist was Mandy Dennis of Shreveport, La.
The bride is the daughter of Donna DeBrock of Leopold and Melvin DeBrock of Kelso, Mo. The groom is the son of Ronald and Barbara Towe of Sikeston, Mo.
Maid of honor was Heather DeBrock of Cape Girardeau, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Katrina Prance of Dexter, Mo., Lisa Crank of Cape Girardeau, and Karie Kurtz of Scott City, Mo.
Shawn Towe of Sikeston served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Jeromy Towe of Sikeston, brother of the groom; Nathan Huck of Cape Girardeau and Darren Killian of Doniphan, Mo. Ushers were Steve Gentry of Leopold and Ryan Bateman of Sikeston.
Candlelighters were Amanda Abner of East Cape Girardeau, Ill., and Tara Kassinger of Fruitland, Mo.
Flower girls were Sarah Niswonger and Taylor Lewis. Sarah is the daughter of Keith and Marilyn Niswonger of O'Fallon, Mo., and cousin of the bride. Taylor is the daughter of Cindy Lewis of Sikeston and cousin of the groom.
Ringbearers were Nicholas Dennis and Ethan Scheffer. Nicholas is the son of Steve and Mandy Dennis of Shreveport and cousin of the groom. Ethan is the son of Larry and Kim Scheffer of Gordonville, Mo., and cousin of the bride.
Guest book attendants were Mindy Towe, cousin of the groom, and Savara Kimble, both of Sikeston.
Following the ceremony, a reception and dance was held at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Jackson. Servers were Joyce Kinder of Gordonville, great-aunt of the bride, and Deb Killian of Sikeston, aunt of the groom.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner July 27 at the KC Hall.
The bride expects to receive a bachelor of science degree in elementary education in December.
The groom received a bachelor of science degree in biology from Southeast Missouri State University. He is an agent with Missouri Department of Conservation.
After a wedding trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, the couple resides in Ellington, Mo.
