Joanna Davis and Brooks P. Douglass Jr. were united in marriage Feb. 12, 2005, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Jackson, Tenn. The Rev. David Graham performed the ceremony. Reader was Temple Yancey of Hannibal, Mo. Classical guitarist was John Ross of Memphis, Tenn., and vocalist was Pam Haynes of Jackson, Tenn.

The bride is the daughter of Kenneth Davis of Hopkins, S.C., and Jeannette Davis of Charleston, S.C. The groom is the son of Eva Douglass of Destin, Fla., and the late Brooks P. Douglass Sr. of Jackson, Tenn.

The bride was escorted by her father, and grandfather, Roy Harper of Mexico, Mo.

Matron of honor was Katie Rogers of Fishers, Ind. Bridesmaids were Charlotte Mitchell of Springfield, Mo., and Melissa Swenning of Wichita, Kan.

Brad Langford of Jackson, Tenn., was best man. Groomsmen were Don Williams of Jackson, Tenn., and Bob Stadinger of Ocala, Fla. Ushers were Rich, Jason and Jeff Cantrell of Jackson, Tenn.

Flower girls were Megan Somers of Charlotte, N.C., Madelyn Stadinger of Adamsville, Tenn., Halie Rogers of Fishers, and Faith and Grace Rogers of Columbia, Mo. Ringbearer was Colin Cantrell of Jackson, Tenn.

The reception was held at Premier Place.

Mrs. Douglass is a graduate of Tates Creek High School in Lexington, Ky. She received a bachelor of science degree in environmental science from Eastern Kentucky University in 1987, and a juris doctor degree from the University of Tulsa School of Law in 2001. She is an attorney with Reynolds, Gold and Grosser, P.C., in Cape Girardeau.

The groom is a graduate of Jackson Central-Merry High School in Jackson, Tenn. He received a bachelor of science degree in accounting from Union University in Jackson, Tenn. He served in the Tennessee Army National Guard. He is a certified public accountant and auditor with Tennessee Department of Revenue.

Following a wedding trip to New Orleans, the couple is residing in Cape Girardeau and Jackson, Tenn.
