The bride is the daughter of Perry and Trudy Long of Marble Hill, Mo. The groom is the son of Kristl Bowles of Carbondale, Ill., and the late David Sides.

The groom attended Carterville, Ill., High School. He is a machine operator at Pavestone.

The couple is residing in Jackson.
