MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Emily Sue Davis and Todd Wayne Leslie were married June 6, 2009, at First General Baptist Church in Jackson. The Rev. Luther Rhodes performed the ceremony. Harpist was Amy Enroth of Quincy, Ill., and pianist was Cindy Burger of Millersville. Soloists were Lindsay Bell of Lafe, Ark., and Sydney Keith of Marble Hill.
The bride is the daughter of Mark Davis and Kevin and Karla Robinson, all of Marble Hill. The groom is the son of Ron and Judie Leslie of Leopold, Mo.
Matron of honor was Sarah Weadon of Jackson, cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Lindsay Bell; Molly Davidson of Jackson, cousin of the bride; and Mackenzy Devenport of Leopold, niece of the groom.
Brian Mathey of Marble Hill was best man. Groomsmen were Scott Nanney of Cape Girardeau, Jeremy Weadon of Jackson, and Jake Michelson of Millersville, cousin of the groom. Ushers were Mark Davis Jr. of Marble Hill, brother of the bride, and Larry Devenport of Leopold, brother-in-law of the groom.
Miniature brides were Kallie and Allie Davis of Marble Hill, nieces of the bride.
Candlelighters and guest book attendants were Lisa Diederich of Marble Hill, aunt of the bride, and Kim Leslie of Leopold, sister of the groom.
A dinner reception was held at the Show Me Center. Servers were Krysty Davis of Marble Hill, sister-in-law of the bride, and Donna Michelson of Millersville, cousin of the groom.
The rehearsal dinner was June 5 at the church.
Mrs. Leslie is a 2002 graduate of Woodland High School. She received a bachelor of science degree in dental hygiene from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale in 2007. She is employed by SEMO Health Network in Sikeston, Mo.
The groom is a 1995 graduate of Leopold High School. He is employed by Country Mart in Marble Hill.
The couple is residing in Leopold.
