Davis -- Bell

Maria Nicole Davis and Dr. Cody Wayne Bell were united in marriage Sept. 27, 2014, at Historic Old St. Vincent's Church in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. Bobby Manso performed the double ring ceremony. Organist was Lenny Kuper, violinist was Dr. Ben Goodier and vocalist was Claudette Hency.

The bride is the daughter of David Davis of Chester, Illinois, and Steve and Sally Ramsey of Jonesboro, Illinois. The groom is the son of Mike and Donna Bell of Cape Girardeau.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father.

Matron of honor was Lori McClard of Chaffee, Missouri. Bridesmaids were Courtney Fletcher of Murphysboro, Illinois, cousin of the bride; Nicole Schmit of Whitewater, Missouri; Mickellynn Escue of Cobden, Illinois; and Stephanie Chapman of Murphysboro.

Kyle Dively of Cape Girardeau was the best man. Groomsmen were Derek Yarbro and Dusty McDowell, both of Cape Girardeau; Earl Grice of Lee's Summit, Missouri; and Dr. Nathan Chapman of Murphysboro.

Ushers were Matt Davis of Jonesboro, brother of the bride; and Dr. Rob Etherton of Jackson. Flower girl was Natalie Davis, niece of the bride. Ring bearer was Dillon Davis, nephew of the bride. The candlelighter was Alex Etherton, daughter of Dr. Rob and Kim Etherton of Jackson. Program attendants and giftbearers were Maggie, Kamryn and Logan Stubenrauch, cousins of the groom. Lector was Amy Stubenrauch, cousin of the groom. Eucharistic ministers were Leslie Simmons and Kevin Stubenrauch, cousins of the groom; and Lonnie Stubenrauch, uncle of the groom.

Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance were held at Ray's Plaza Banquet Center in Cape Girardeau.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Sept. 26, 2014, at Ray's Banquet Center.

Mrs. Bell is a graduate of Cobden High School and John A. Logan College. She is a registered dental hygienist at Jackson Dental in Jackson.

Dr. Bell is a graduate of Notre Dame Regional High School, Southeast Missouri State University and University of Missouri Kansas City School of Dentistry. He is a dentist and co-owner of Jackson Dental.

Following a trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple is residing in Cape Girardeau.
