Megan Amanda Davidson of Jackson and David Blake Powell of Palmyra, Missouri, were married July 25, 2015, at Grace United Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. Thomas Sullenger performed the ceremony. Josh Merlenbach of Cape Girardeau was the organist.

Megan is the daughter of Curt Davidson and Alison Koehler, both of Jackson. David is the son of Tom and Kara Powell of Palmyra.

Maid of honor was Emily Davidson of Jackson, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kaley Wachter, Samantha Watson and Morgan Peters, all of Jackson; and Gaby Hernandez of Columbia, Missouri.

Flower girls were Reagan Shadron, daughter of Andy and Carmen Shadron of Cape Girardeau and cousin of the bride, and Avery McKinnon, daughter of Brandon and Kristin McKinnon of St. Louis and cousin of the groom.

Best man was Jason Powell of Palmyra, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Ben Graupman of Palymra; Alex Smith of Joplin, Missouri; Tyler Gray of Daytona, Florida; and Jared Koehler of Jackson, brother of the bride.

The wedding reception was held at Deerfield Lodge in Cape Girardeau.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner on July 24, 2015, at Bella Italia in Cape Girardeau.

Mrs. Powell received a Bachelor of Science degree in middle school math in 2013 from Central Methodist University. She is an online health and fitness coach.

Powell received a Bachelor of Science degree in marine biology and environmental science in 2012 from Central Methodist University. He is an officer in the United States Navy stationed at Newport, Rhode Island.

The couple took a wedding trip to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
