MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Mandi Chole Daniels and Lucas James Sturm were married May 12, 2001, at First Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. Charles Blaylock performed the double ring ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Terry and JoAnn Daniels of Marble Hill, and Jim and Sherri Sturm of Scott City, Mo.

Matron of honor was Kerie Seabaugh of Fruitland, Mo. Bridesmaids were Megan Glasstetter of New Madrid, Mo., cousin of the bride; Justine Hunt of Perryville, Mo.; and Sherri Seyer of Scott City, sister of the groom. Junior bridesmaids were Rachel Sauceda and Amanda Williams, cousins of the bride. Rachel is the daughter of Clayton and Donna Sauceda of Sikeston, Mo. Amanda is the daughter of Bobby and Pam Williams of Oran, Mo.

The groom chose his father as best man. Groomsmen were Billy Sturm, brother of the groom; Courtney Newell, both of Scott City; Dustin Glasstetter of Oran, cousin of the bride; and Brian Seyer of Scott City, brother-in-law of the groom. Junior groomsmen were Cody and Josh Seyer, sons of Brian and Sherri Seyer and nephews of the groom. Ushers were Billy Gilliland II of Sikeston, uncle of the bride, and Billy Gilliland III of New Madrid, cousin of the bride.

Flower girls were Sarha Downing and Erica Welter, and ringbearer was Zack Downing, cousins of the bride. Sarha and Zack are the children of Scott and Cathy Downing of New Madrid. Erica is the daughter of Eric and Brenda Welter of Chaffee, Mo.

Janet Blackburn of Sikeston, great-aunt of the bride, attended the guest book.

Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance was held at Best Western Coach House Inn at Sikeston. Servers were Janet Blackburn, Nancy Pruitt and Dianna Thatcher, all of Sikeston and great-aunts of the bride.

The bride is a 1996 graduate of Scott City High School, and a 1997 graduate of Stage One the Hair School. She is employed at JCPenney Styling Salon in Cape Girardeau.

The groom is a 1997 graduate of Scott City High School. He is employed by Luhr Brothers Marine Division in Cape Girardeau.

The couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
