Angela Sue Crook and Michael Glen Strawn exchanged wedding vows April 26, 2008, at Cape Girardeau Elks Lake. The Rev. Randy Morse performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Weldon Crook of Scott City, and the late Janice Crook. The groom is the son of Becky Strawn of Benton, Mo., and the late Raymond Stawn.
Matrons of honor were Michele Carmode of Dexter, Mo., sister of the bride, and Ashley Jackson of Scott City. Bridesmaids were Julie Schoolfield of Cape Girardeau, Alisha Hennecke of Scott City, and Monica Gaylor of Cape Girardeau.
James Hennecke of Scott City was best man. Groomsmen were Carmon Jackson and Jason Donovan of Scott City, Tyson Schoolfield of Cape Girardeau, and Greg Hartle of Scott City. Ushers were Brandon Vance of Rolla, Mo., cousin of the bride, and Robert Hennecke of Scott City.
Flower girl was Destani Hennecke. Ringbearers were Trae Hennecke and Tyson Carmode. Destani and Trae are children of James and Alisha Hennecke. Tyson is the son of Ken and Michele Carmode and nephew of the bride.
Miniature bride and groom were Mariah and Cameron Scheren, children of Terri Thompson of Cape Girardeau and niece and nephew of the groom.
Guest book attendants were Amber Stowers of Benton and Terri Thompson, sisters of the groom.
The reception was held at the Elks Lodge. Servers were Wanda Vance and Peggy Nelson of Rolla, aunts of the bride; Stacy Pace of Jackson; and Trish Walls of Scott City, aunt of the groom.
The bride and groom hosted the rehearsal dinner April 25 at Cape County Park.
Mrs. Strawn is a 1997 graduate of Scott City High School, and is pursuing a degree in child development at Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed by Dr. Byron Glenn.
The groom is a 1998 graduate of Scott City High School. He is employed at Bud Shell's Auto World Inc. in Cape Girardeau.
After a wedding trip to St. Petersburg Beach, Fla., the couple resides in Scott City.
