Crites - Peterson

Courtney Renee Crites and John Kelly Peterson were married Nov. 1, 2014, at New McKendree United Methodist Church in Jackson. J. David Israel performed the ceremony.

Parents of the couple are Alan and Dixie Crites of Jackson, and John and Carol Peterson of Omaha, Nebraska.

Maid of honor was Kaitlin Crites of Jackson, and matron of honor was Kacie Sims of Denver, Colorado, sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Angie Davis of Cape Girardeau, Lori Filipiak of Springfield, Illinois, Susan Manuello and Marci Newsom of Denver.

John Tannehill of Chicago was best man. Groomsmen were Justin Burris of San Diego, California, Mike Busch of Lake View, Iowa, Brandon Conway of Clear Lake, Iowa, Jeremy Cortright of Denver, and Steve Klemas of Mason City, Iowa. Ushers were Matt Seevers of Omaha, Nebraska, brother-in-law of the groom, and Peyton Sims of Denver, brother-in-law of the bride.

Candlelighters were Allison Seevers and Silvia Schallberger. Allison is the daughter of Matt and Julie Seevers and niece of the groom. Silvia is the daughter of Paul and Ethea Schallberger of Cape Girardeau.

Flower girls were Elsie Seevers and Tempe Davis. Ringbearer was Paul Schallberger III. Elsie is the daughter of Matt and Julie Seevers and niece of the groom. Tempe is the daughter of Shannon and Angie Davis of Cape Girardeau. Paul is the son of Paul and Ethea Schallberger.

The reception was held at The Concourse in Cape Girardeau.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Oct. 31 at Ray's of Kelso.

Courtney attended Southeast Missouri State University. She is a regional technology field manager with Office Depot.

John received a bachelor of science degree from Iowa State and a master's degree from St. Louis University. He is chairman and CEO of OTT Communications.

The couple is residing in Lone Tree, Colorado.
