THEBES, Ill. -- Regina Rene Cox and Nathan Edward Yoast were married Aug. 10, 2002, at the home of his parents. The Rev. George Schneider performed the ceremony. Music was by Angela Sams of Olive Branch, Ill.
The bride is the daughter of Linda Cox and Errol Cox of Thebes. The groom is the son of Glenda and Bill Jones of Anna, Ill., and the late John Yoast.
Maid of honor was Jane Baine of Tamms, Ill. Bridesmaids were Kathryn Poddig of Tamms and Casey Steinhouse of Murphysboro, Ill.
John Yoast Jr. of Hurst, Ill., was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Chris Tellor of Anna and Daniel Cox of Olive Branch, brother of the bride.
Flower girl and ringbearer were Samantha and Nick Cox of Waynesville, Mo., niece and nephew of the bride.
Kim Yoast of Hurst attended the guest book.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held in the Jones home. Servers were Regina Wilson of Olive Branch, Renee and Shaun Cox of Waynesville, and Linda Cox.
Mrs. Yoast expects to receive a bachelor of science degree in mass communications from Southeast Missouri State University Dec. 14. She is employed at the Southeast Missourian Newspaper.
The groom is pursuing a degree in nursing at Shawnee Community College. He served in the U.S. Army. He is employed at Thorngate Ltd.
The couple resides in Anna.
