Danielle Kristine Cotner and Michael Jason Powers were married Oct. 26, 2002, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Egypt Mills. The Rev. Mark Martin performed the ceremony. Organist was Judy Beal.
Ron and Karen Cotner of Cape Girardeau are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Judith Kirk of St. Louis.
Maid of honor was Courtney Cotner of Denver, Colo., cousin of the bride. Bridesmaids were Marsha Bollinger of St. Louis, Karen Lawrence of Cape Girardeau, Dre West of St. Louis, Amy Hodges of Cape Girardeau, and Jacquelyn Koch of Chicago, cousin of the groom.
Mike Crachiollio was best man. Groomsmen were Jim Honey of St. Louis; Matt Cotner of Cape Girardeau, brother of the bride; Jim Hogenmiller of St. Louis; Richard Koch of Chicago, uncle of the groom; James Wilke and Eric Fritz of St. Louis.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the Elks Lodge in Cape Girardeau.
The groom's mother hosted the rehearsal dinner at Mollies Cafe and Bar.
Mrs. Powers is attending the University of Missouri-St. Louis.
The groom is a graduate of the university.
After a wedding trip to London, the couple is residing in St. Louis.
