COOMER-RHODES

SCOTT CITY -- Sara Rebecca Coomer and Will L. Rhodes Jr. exchanged vows Oct. 23, 1999, at the Oasis Hall in Allenville. The Rev. Rennie Phillips performed the double ring ceremony.

Robert and Barbara Coomer of Scott City are parents of the bride. The groom is the son of Willard "Pewee" Rhodes of Scott City.

The bride was presented in marriage by her father.

Jennifer Moore and Carrie Ferrell of Scott City were matron of honor and maid of honor, respectively.

The groom chose the bride's father as best man. Groomsman was the father of the groom.

Flower girl was Shelby Rhodes, daughter of the groom. Ringbearer was Jacob Uhrhan, son of Pam Uhrhan of Scott City and cousin of the bride.

Candlelighters were Jennifer Coomer and Dwana Rhodes of Scott City, sisters of the bride and groom.

Guest book attendants were Trish Handly and Dalton Rhodes. Trish is the daughter of Marie Coomer of Scott City and cousin of the bride. Dalton is the son of the bride and groom.

Following the ceremony, a reception and dance was held at the hall. Servers were Kelly Nauert, Linda McFall, Betty McFall and Marie Coomer, aunts of the bride.

Mrs. Rhodes is a 1997 graduate of the ABE program at Cape Vo-Tech School in Cape Girardeau. She is an in-home child care provider.

The groom is a 1999 graduate of a certified nursing program. He is employed by Heartland Care and Rehab.

The couple resides in Scott City.
