Rebecca Jo Cook and Andrew Charles Peters, both of Cape Girardeau, were married Nov. 7, 2015, at Old St. Vincent Church in Cape Girardeau. The Rev. Dave Hulshof performed the ceremony. Music was provided by Ellen Seyer of Cape Girardeau, singer; Betty Vandeven of Chaffee, Missouri, organist; and Matt Carlton of Imperial, Missouri, soloist.
Rebecca is the daughter of Ken and Diane Cook of Chaffee. Andrew is the son of Richard Peters of Florissant, Missouri, and Bill and Patty Maneke of St. Charles, Missouri.
Maid of honor was Marianne Cook of Jackson, sister of the bride. Matrons of honor were Erin Carlton of Imperial and Sarah Sugden of Marthasville, Missouri, both sisters of the bride. Bridesmaids were Alexis Arnzen of Leopold, Missouri, friend of the bride; Megan Ash of Bolivar, Missouri, friend of the bride; Carolyn Peters of Florissant, sister of the groom; Katie Brucker of Chaffee, cousin of the bride; Amy Pobst of Oran, Missouri, friend of the bride; and Spring Cook of Cape Girardeau, sister-in-law of the bride.
Flower girls were Abbie and Allie Cook, daughters of Michael and Spring Cook of Cape Girardeau and nieces of the bride.
Ringbearers were Ben Carlton of Imperial, nephew of the bride; Jude Sugden of Marthasville, nephew of the bride; and Drew Halbruegge of Arnold, Missouri, nephew of the groom.
Candlelighters were Andrea Ritter of Cape Girardeau, friend of the bride, and Katrina Torres of Edinburg, Texas, friend of the bride.
Best man was Richard Peters of Florissant, father of the groom. A wedding reception was held after the ceremony at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Jackson.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner on Nov. 6, 2015, at Bella Italia in Cape Girardeau.
The bride has master's degrees in educational administration and school counseling. She is a teacher at Delta R-V School District.
The groom received a master's degree in secondary education and is a teacher at Bell City R-II School District.
After a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple lives in Cape Girardeau.
