Autumn Christine Clardy and Travis James Stevens exchanged wedding vows June 7, 2003, at Emanuel United Church of Christ in Jackson. The Rev. Samuel Roethemeyer performed the ceremony. Organist was Christy Shinn, and vocalists were Kelli Niswonger and Roni Hayden, all of Jackson.
Parents of the couple are Rick and Emilie Clardy and James and Bonnie Stevens, all of Jackson.
Maid of honor was Hailey Clardy of Jackson, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Kelli Niswonger; Roni Hayden; and Heidi Crowden of Jackson, sister-in-law of the groom.
Toby Crowden of Jackson served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Jeff Walter of Jackson, Nate McWilliams of Millersville, and Darren Riegert of Jackson. Ushers were Ben Turner, Ryan Propst and Justin Petzoldt, all of Jackson.
Candlelighters were Autumn Crowden and Chelsea Rhodes, nieces of the groom. Autumn is the daughter of Tim and Barb Crowden of Chaffee. Chelsea is the daughter of Missy Crowden of Cape Girardeau.
Flower girl was Ashtyn Rains, and her attendant was Kade Sullivan, children of Lindi Rains of Oran, Mo., and cousins of the bride. Ringbearers were Hunter Clardy and Joe Panagos, cousins of the bride. Hunter is the son of Eddie Clardy Jr. of Jackson and Joe is the son of Nick and Keisha Panagos of Jackson.
Guest book attendant was Jessica Calhoun, daughter of Angie Horton and niece of the groom.
Following the ceremony, the reception was held at the Elks Lodge in Jackson. Servers were Lindi Rains, Keisha Panagos and Brandy Nine.
The rehearsal dinner was held June 6 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Hayden.
Mrs. Stevens is a 2002 graduate of Jackson High School, and is pursuing a degree in secondary education at Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed at Ruby Tuesday Restaurant and Vector Marketing.
The groom is a 1998 graduate of Jackson High School, and received a bachelor of science degree from Southeast in 2002. He is employed at Lowe's Home Improvement Warehouse.
The couple resides in Jackson.
