Amanda Michelle Catalano and Matthew Thomas Cuba were married Aug. 4, 2012, at Sanctuary on the River in Ruidoso, N.M. Marshall McKay and Sandy Adams performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Steve Catalano of Vancouver, Wash., and the late Sonda Catalano. The groom is the son of Richard and Rhonda Cuba of Cape Girardeau.
Matron of honor was Sarah Wood of Sidney, Neb. Bridesmaids were Katie Brewer of Pensacola, Fla.; Amanda Cochran of Vancouver; Casey Cuba of Cape Girardeau, sister of the groom; and Michelle McKay of Las Cruces, N.M.
Marshall McKay of Las Cruces was best man. Groomsmen were Christopher Catalano of Vancouver, brother of the bride; Robert Cuba of St. Louis and Tyler Cuba of Cape Girardeau, brothers of the groom; and Roger Klein of Las Cruces.
Flower girl was Anika Adams, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Sunny Adams of Las Cruces.
The dinner and dance reception was held at Sanctuary on the River.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Aug. 3 at The Village Buttery in Ruidoso.
Mrs. Cuba received a master of arts degree in anthropology from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, specializing in cultural anthropology and museum studies. She is assistant director of the city museum in Las Cruces.
The groom expects to receive a master of arts degree in anthropology from New Mexico State this spring, specializing in archaeology. He is a staff archaeologist with AmaTerra Environmental Inc.
Following a wedding trip to Echo Basin Ranch in Mancos, Colo., the couple is residing in Las Cruces.
