Stephanie Ann Carpenter and Aaron Michael Zlokovich were married Sept. 1, 2012, at The Grand Lodge on Fifth in Paducah, Ky. David Shrein performed the ceremony. Pianist was Pennie Aust.
The bride is the daughter of Dean and Sharon Carpenter of Boaz, Ky. The groom is the son of Neil and Dr. Martha Zlokovich of Cape Girardeau.
Maid of honor was Jennifer Carpenter of Paducah, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Tracy Carter of Lexington, Ky.; Chloe Keeling of Paducah; Hallie Sullivan and Savannah Feezor of Nashville, Tenn., cousins of the bride.
Matthew Zlokovich of Cape Girardeau served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Matt Bartlett of Kansas City, Mo., Nick Smith of Branson, Mo., Clinton Narayan of Kansas City, and Darris Gerlach of Madison, Wis. Ushers were Samuel Evens of Paducah, Kendall Daniel of Neosho, Mo., Tim Telaneus of Dallas, Texas, and Thomas McIntyre of Kansas City.
Candlelighters were mothers of the bride and groom.
Flower girl was Riley Carpenter, daughter of Jennifer Carpenter and niece of the bride. Ringbearer was Gavin Vance, son of Chad and Krissy Vance of Paducah and cousin of the bride.
The reception was held at the lodge.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Aug. 31 at the lodge.
Mrs. Zlokovich expects to receive an associate of arts degree from Bluegrass Community and Technical College this spring, and then plans to pursue a degree in diagnostic medical sonography. She is currently a nanny.
The groom received a bachelor of arts degree in public communication, advertising and applied communication from Truman State University in 2010. He is owner and operator of Lexington Door Deals, a direct marketing and advertising business.
After a wedding trip to Chicago, the couple is residing in Lexington.
