Katy Love Canion and Joseph Anthony Pacelli Jr. were married July 31, 2004, at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Columbus, Miss. The Rev. Robert Seney performed the ceremony. Readers were Gina Misson of Middletown, N.J., Lisa Cieri of Matawan, N.J., and Christina Larkins of Lincroft, N.J., sisters of the groom.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Canion of Columbus. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Pacelli Sr. of Lincroft.
Maid of honor was Emily Robbins of Long Beach, Miss. Bridesmaids were Aimee Aday of Muscle Shoals, Ala., Brandy Burnette of Smithville, Miss., Bethany McLemore of Fayetteville, Ark., Jennifer Meriwether of Houston, Texas, Mandi Stutsy of Pontotoc, Miss., and Kerri Wong of Nashville, Tenn.
Jamie McBride of Jackson, Miss., was best man. Groomsmen were Andy Canion of Columbus, brother of the bride; Francis Humphries of Medford, N.J.; John Larkins of Lincroft, brother-in-law of the groom; Glenn Misson of Middletown and Joseph Cieri of Matawan, brothers-in-law of the groom; and Richard Vitale of Centennial, Colo.
Candlelighters were Nicholas and Matthew Misson and John Larkins, nephews of the groom.
Flower girls were Josephine Larkins and Alexa Cieri, nieces of the groom. Ringbearer was Christopher Misson, nephew of the groom.
The reception was held at Columbus Country Club.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner July 30 at J. Broussard's Restaurant.
Mrs. Pacelli received a bachelor's degree in marketing from Mississippi University for Women in Columbus, and is pursuing a master's degree in higher education administration at Southeast Missouri State University. She is a graduate assistant in the athletic advising office at Southeast.
The groom received a bachelor of arts degree in social sciences from Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pa., a master of arts degree in physical education from the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, and completed work toward a Ph.D. at the University of Iowa in Iowa City. He is women's tennis coach at Southeast.
The couple is residing in Cape Girardeau.
