Christine Marie Call and Matthew Ryan Lacy exchanged vows June 15, 2002, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. The Rev. Pat Keeley performed the ceremony. Pianist was Jeffrey Overbey, and vocalists were Diane Mueller, aunt of the bride, and Caroline Mueller, cousin of the bride, all of Cape Girardeau.
The bride is the daughter of Don and Sharon Call of Strafford, Mo. Glen and Sharon Lacy of Advance, Mo., are parents of the groom.
Matron of honor was Misty Mabuce of Jackson. Bridesmaids were Laura McClard of Jackson, cousin of the bride; Carey Looney, Monica Yocum, and Sarah Bowman, cousin of the bride, all of Springfield, Mo.
Brandon Gregory of Oran, Mo., was best man. Groomsmen were Rich Lacy of Scott City, Clint Lacy of Marble Hill, Mo., Sam and Jared Lacy of Advance, brothers of the groom. Ushers were Donny Call of Springfield, Matthew, Michael and Mark Call of Strafford, brothers of the bride.
Candlelighters were Angela Underwood and Caroline Mueller of Cape Girardeau, cousins of the bride.
Flower girl was Alexandria Lacy, daughter of Clint and Michelle Lacy and niece of the groom. Ringbearer was Benjamin Bowman, son of Kirk and Sandy Bowman of Springfield and cousin and godson of the bride.
Jessica Bowman, cousin of the bride, and Victoria Glueck attended the guest book.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Elks Lodge. Servers were Ruth Ann Parks, aunt of the bride; Riene and Michelle Lacy, sisters-in-law of the bride.
The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner June 14 at the church.
Mrs. Lacy is a 1992 graduate of Strafford High School, and received a bachelor of science degree in education from Southwest Missouri State University in 1996. She is a kindergarten teacher at Clippard School.
The groom is a 1996 graduate of Advance High School, and 2002 graduate of Southeast Missouri State University. He is a social studies teacher at Richland High School in Essex, Mo.
After a wedding trip to Mayan Riviera, Mexico, the couple is residing in Cape Girardeau.
