Michaelyn Christine Burns and Adam Clayton Ross were united in marriage April 17, 2010, at Centenary United Methodist Church. The Rev. Jeff Long performed the ceremony. Reader was the Rev. Karen Nothdurft of Cape Girardeau. Pianist was Beverly Reese and soloist was Eric Scott, both of Cape Girardeau.

The bride is the daughter of Jim and Lisa Burns of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of Eddie and Brenda Ross of Jackson.

Matron of honor was Jessica Krueger of St. Louis Park, Minn. Bridesmaids were Analise Riddle of Houston, Texas, cousin of the bride; Brett Ford of Nashville, Tenn., Michelle Pinkley of St. Louis, and Tricia Roth of Cape Girardeau.

Aaron Ross of Jackson was his brother's best man. Groomsmen were Eric Williams, Cody Cardwell and Anthony Brewer of Cape Girardeau, and Eric Roth of Jackson. Ushers were Patrick Krueger of St. Louis Park, brother-in-law of the bride, and Alex Riddle of Houston, cousin of the bride.

Candlelighter was Kelli Ross of Jackson, sister-in-law of the groom.

Program attendants were Sarah and Mary Catherine Ford of Cape Girardeau.

The reception was held at Celebrations Downtown.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner April 16 at Port Cape Girardeau.

Mrs. Ross received a bachelor of science degree in human environmental studies/interior design from Southeast Missouri State University in 2008. She is store manager with Bloom in Cape Girardeau.

The groom is pursuing a degree in marketing management at Southeast University. He is store manager with Ross Furniture in Jackson.

After a wedding trip to Riviera Maya, Mexico, the couple is residing in Cape Girardeau.
