Janessa Lynne Burford and Charles Raymond Buhler IV were married May 31, 2013, on the beach at the Inn of Cocoa Beach in Cocoa Beach, Fla. The Rev. Sr. Claudia Windal, OSF, performed the ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Lenny and Jane Burford of Benton, Mo. The groom's parents are Charles Buhler of Cape Canaveral, Fla., and Maureen Kennedy of New Port Richey, Fla.
Maid of honor was Ashley Seyer of Cape Girardeau, and matron of honor was Leslie Seyer of Cape Girardeau.
Best man was Steven Hamm of Albany, N.Y., and groomsman was Steven Buhler of New Port Richey, Fla., brother of the groom.
Flower girl was Sienna Soler of Cocoa Beach, daughter of Robert and Monica Soler. Ring bearer was Jan Carlos Buhler, son of the groom.
The reception was held at the Inn of Cocoa Beach.
Mrs. Buhler received a bachelor's degree in engineering physics from Southeast Missouri State University. She is employed by NASA at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
The groom received a bachelor's degree in engineering physics from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Fla., and a doctorate in physics from Florida State University in Tallahassee, Fla. He is a principal investigator with PolyAdaptive LLC and owns the company CRB High Field.
The couple resides in Cocoa Beach.
