Red Star Baptist Church was the setting April 27, 2002, for the wedding of Amie Lee Brumbaugh and Jedediah Luke Dibert. Joe McCullough and Jim Matthews performed the double ring ceremony. Organist was Phyllis Swift of Cape Girardeau.

The bride is the daughter of Jan Brumbaugh of Cape Girardeau and Mike Brumbaugh of Fenton, Mo. The groom is the son of Kathy Yarbro of Cape Girardeau and Gary Dibert of Mansfield, Ohio.

Matron of honor was the bride's mother. Bridesmaids were Megan Graham and Tana Stinnett of Cape Girardeau.

Joshua Dibert of Cape Girardeau served his brother as best man. Groomsmen were Jeryd Brumbaugh, brother of the bride, and Dustin Sitzes, both of Cape Girardeau. Ushers were Kevin Graham and Doug Lipps, uncle of the bride, both of Cape Girardeau.

Miniature bride was Kaelyn Stinnett of Cape Girardeau.

Candlelighters were Judi Lipps, aunt of the bride, and Cheryl Gelsheimer, both of Cape Girardeau.

Guest book attendant was Jennifer Pierce and programs were handed out by Denny Lipps, uncle of the bride, both of Cape Girardeau.

Following the ceremony, the reception was held at Drury Lodge. Servers were Debbie Ford and Stephany Laffoon of Cape Girardeau.

Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Lipps hosted the rehearsal dinner April 26 at Red Star Church.

Mrs. Dibert is a 1996 graduate of Central High School. She is employed at Jerry Lipps Inc.

The groom is employed at Missouri Dry Dock and Repair Co.

The couple resides in Cape Girardeau.
