Amy Leigh Brown and Sonny Hodges were married Oct. 6, 2001, at Black Forest Villages. The Rev. John Ferguson performed the double ring ceremony.
Parents of the bride are Rodger and Debbie Brown of Cape Girardeau. The groom is the son of Gene Hodges of Jackson, Mo., and Linda Hodges of Altenburg, Mo.
Emily Brown of Cape Girardeau was her sister's maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Valerie Ochs of Cape Girardeau, Trisha Miles and Beth Carter of St. Louis, and Danielle Cotner of Cape Girardeau.
The groom chose Lee Thompson of Everett, Wash., as best man. Groomsmen were Craig Hasheider of Cape Girardeau, Jeremy Mason of Mobile, Ala., Jim Shoemake of Oakland, Calif., and Airek Beauchamp of Cape Girardeau. Ushers were Scott Hodges of Jackson, brother of the groom; Greg Brown of Cape Girardeau, brother of the bride; and Tony Prince of Jackson.
Flower girl was Lindsey Brown, daughter of Greg and Lisa Brown and niece of the bride. Ringbearer was Ethan Groshong, son of Charles and Pam Groshong of Cape Girardeau.
Guest book attendants were Megan Thrower, Nell Ditch and Kyla Erlbacher, all of Cape Girardeau, and Heather Prince of Jackson.
The reception was held at the villages. Servers were Cathy Merkler of Jackson and Susan Dodds of Hendersonville, Tenn., cousins of the bride.
The bride and groom hosted the rehearsal dinner Oct. 5 at the home of the bride's parents.
The bride attended Southeast Missouri State University. She is shipping and receiving manager at Terra Dynamic.
The groom attended the University of Missouri-Columbia. He is a computer consultant with Innovative Idea Integration LLC in Jackson.
The couple is residing in Jackson.
