The bride is the daughter of Dan and Roberta Brown of Jackson. James and Kathryn Wire of St. Louis are parents of the groom.

Maid of honor was Kari Fields, and bridesmaids were Angela Welker and Ginger Thomas.

Landon Boehm was best man, and groomsmen were Brad Miesner and Doug Eudy. Ushers were Allan Thompson, brother-in-law of the groom; Ryan Douglas and Dustin Shaw.

Candlelighters were Patty Thompson and Leslie Wire, sisters of the groom.

The reception was held at the Elks Lodge in Cape Girardeau.

The groom's parents hosted the rehearsal dinner Jan. 1 at Victorian Inn and Suites.

Mrs. Wire received a bachelor of science degree in psychology from Truman State University. She is pursuing a master of arts degree in art therapy counseling at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville. She is a residential counselor with Chestnut Health Systems.

The groom received a bachelor of science degree in history and a master's degree in education from Truman University. He will be a middle school science teacher this fall in Bowling Green, Mo.

After a wedding trip to Hermann, Mo., the couple is residing near Bowling Green.
